About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology, the study of aging, from San Diego State University in 2008. I have worked with older adults, their families, the people that care for them, and the support system at large for over 20 years in various settings and capacities. My training in development across the lifespan informs my therapeutic practice, as does my deep understanding of both the beauty and grief that accompany life, and the ways in which our life transitions impact our mental health. In my work as a therapist, I have found great passion and joy in working with individuals of all ages and circumstances, and I truly look forward to walking alongside my clients on the journey to healing and growth.
